Center for Rheumatic Diseases
The faculty and staff of the Division of Immunology and Rheumatology of the University of Missouri are proud to announce the opening of our latest outpatient clinical offices, The Center for Rheumatic Diseases, at Woodrail Center in southwest Columbia.
Representing more than 30 years of comprehensive rheumatologic services to the University of Missouri and Columbia communities, we are excited to be in our new home with access available every day. We are experts in diagnosing and treating inflammatory and degenerative diseases of connective tissue, and we have recently begun treating patients in our own on-site infusion center. Future enhancements to our program will include both DEXA capabilities for osteoporosis screening and management, and musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnosis of soft tissue as well as joint diseases.
We are excited to be at our new facilities to again be able to provide the timely interactions and skill to help manage any and all rheumatologic processes. Access to our clinics has never been easier as we move to an Advanced Clinic Access program, and we currently are able to schedule patients within one week for a new patient visit!
On behalf of Drs. Celso Velάzquez and Chokkalingam Siva, and Nurse Practitioner Deanna Davenport, I look forward to hearing from you as to how we can assist with all your rheumatologic needs!
